Within Switzerland the three door AE86 was sold as the Toyota Corolla 1600 Coupé GTi alongside the other Corolla E80 lineup and this page contains the only Swiss AE86 brochure we found till date. Technically the Swiss AE86 was similar in shape and specifications to most of the European AE86s, but the more strict environmental demands meant the 4A-GE engine is the same as the USDM 4A-GE featuring an airflow meter and a catalytic converter.

The early model got its own separate brochure/leaflet containing four pages making it a cover, 1 foldout page and a specifications page. What is striking here that the brochure actually is bilingual and contains both French and German text. Switzerland had four official languages where German and French make up the majority (almost 90%) and thus it features both.
