What is your tacho? It looks like a stock one, but in the last pic I can see something like carbon fiber pattern on the background. I really like it! Thumbs up!

they are really a made to order item, not off the shelf. They werent that much, $1500 Aud for the bare struts, no tops, no stub axles (i had to machine the stub axles off an original strut and press them onto place on the dms version)

your car looks awesome though. There's only one problem I see. Your steering wheel is on the wrong side! Tongue

Looks the goods. What make are the wheels you've got in the earlier pics? The ones that scream rally car.

Oh, and how did your event go?

SHHHH Aram!

Sorry, those pics were posted up a few days before it went in its first rally (and mine)
Car did very well, on a shakedown on a friends farm (pretty much a goat track) the car had a slight know on the lhf...we got it in the air, pulled the bottom bolts off the strut ...it shot out of the car...the captive nut holing the shock in the housing had worked its way loose...very lucky not to bend a $650 insert Smile I also found, ever with the limiting valve wound to full rear, it still locked up the fronts, and only fronts..

So it couldnt be fixed for the event so i had not alot of rear brakes, just had to change the way i drove...back it in

One major problem i had leaving service is the trip metre didnt work, which is essential as this rally was not pace noted, it was the first time we been on the stages, so everyone was given the same road book, with limited notes...and a distance to each note. My car essentially had no way of telling how far it went...so the navigator (to his credit he is state champion) was calling out notes unsure if they were in the right spot.

Didnt get that fixed till the 1st service, even then it was intermittent. turns out something had hit the speedo cable and torn it off the box..we got it connected somehow again, but it was more than stuffed.

Finished the rally 7th, out of 18, cars with much more power and much more km's in the field Smile. Notable damage was I hit a rock 4km into stage one, very lucky not to puncture. but Bent the diff housing very badly, 10mm toe OUT from one hit, it made the car hard to drive...very taily.

so this is the fix.
Was put in a lathe and the ends were cut off, and 3mm sleeves were welded down the housing. Then was welded back together, made absolutely square and 6mm by 50mm steel welded along the bottom of the housing. Shits getting serious now Smile

If i bend this, ill be surprised.

Mind the shit pics, only took them with my phone.
