More to come..... Big Grin

Did(Do) you see it????

How about if I point it out.......

A little extra clearance at the bottom of the bores to make sure the new rods clear during rotation

As often happens when you mix valves from one head, with a different head... and new cams......

Getting the valves tipped so that they are in the middle of my shim bank sizes so I can set valve clearance to the thousandth(.001")

more to come...... Hurray!

A step further....

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - OST-064: Breathing on a 3 rib]

Doing a bit of custom fitting... the stock lower timing cover will not accommodate the T3 pulley snout (its broader - more diameter than stock), so the lower timing cover is "adjusted" so it will accommodate the T3 pulley

Once that detail is taken care of, the rest of assembly goes smoothly

Dan, I'm curious what your view is on these pulleys.. is the lack of harmonic balancing not a risk?

NOT a fan.... and with the current exchange rate (to USA) there is no reason not to run a Ross. MRP has them for $560 NZD, or about $360 USD

My engine... I'm running a modified OEM pulley
