Are you saying that you had the digital dash including tacho working when it was connected
to the OEM Toyota ECU in a non-factory digital dash car ?

That is correct.

Did you do the dash conversion, or was it already in the car when you bought it ?

I did the dash conversion with help from Ronnie on the Club4AG forums. I bought the digital fuel sender, oil pressure sensor and cooling sensor, and then he modified the digital gauge cluster to be plug n play.

And by "plug-n-play" you mean that you used the same dash harness that was used for
the analog dash and just changed the sensor plugs for the fuel, oil and coolant sensors ?

No change to the igniter ?

Correct on the sensors. And yes. Same dash harness with a few changes to how the analog vs digital dash was wired since it’s slightly different.

And got rid of the igniter to use with my aftermarket ECU and coil on plug.

Do you still have the igniter that worked with the digital dash before you changed
to the LINK and COP's ?

Anyone tried this out with a Beams engine?
exact if oil pressure sensor and water temp sensor working digital?

Any one tried this out for the Fuel sender conversion maybe:

A few years ago I planned to do a conversion using an arduino:

I never did this as shortly afterwards the AE86 was put into storage. The Gauge Wizard seems to solve the exact same problem in a similar way, but then more universal. What I like is that it's also able to calibrate. Thumbs up!

Today this arrived:

I've ordered the Spiyda Gauge Wizard. A few weeks ago I already bought a NOS analogue fuel sender for the Carina. It has the exact same resistance on low and high fuel levels as the AE86 analogue sender, so it will be a good test mule for the Spyda. In a few weeks time I'll have some spare time on my hands and try to test if the Gauge Wizard can be used to convert the resistance to voltage.
