Long time no see
Hey guys!

Feels like i've been lost for the last months... and now found my way back home.

Anyways, shit has happened all over so i decided to take a break from everything.
Hasn't been in here for nearly 3 months... HI!

As things are looking now i have to sell my hachi... too much work, too little time and money. Sad
I really love the hachi but i can't get anything to fit mu economy these days...

Hope you're all doing good.

Hugs Wink

Sorry to hear you need to sell the hachi... I hope things get a bit better soon, you've been with us for a long time already. Do what you need to do, sell the 86 if necessary, and when things start looking up buy a nice one and come rejoin us "old-timer" forum fanatics.

Working on a 20 year old car can sometimes feel like a never ending story.. I myself can just about keep it going, but it can take a lot of money and effort to just keep it running, let alone do the things you would like to it. So when you arrive at the point where you cant find the time and money to keep up the project you might be better off selling it and buying a better one when you're ready. Sad truth in mainland europe is that there isnt that much difference in prices for worn down hachi's and nice ones. Prices usually stay around 3000euro's for the better cars. The cost of getting a worn down one back in good condition is usually higher than just buying an expensive but well maintained car in the first place.

Yup I agree that prices are just plain stupid, even for the ratty ones. My silvia was made in 1985, and (lucky for me) hasnt cost me anything really in all the time I have had her.

Maybe Im naive, anyone who can sell a 20year old (and lets face up to it) pretty ordinary car for £4,000+ will probably do it before the bubble bursts.

Still want one tho Evil

Widar, check the offtopic section...

Blueneon, if I may ask, how much would the Silvia get in the UK market?

Pennies by comparison to an 86, a solid one with MOT and Tax wont cost you much more than £500. A REAL nice example maybe £800

You can pick up a project car for around £200
