The prices for the illumina and HTS shortstrokes + coilovers look pretty nice though..not that I can afford them but they do seem to be cheap.

Sorry to say, that frauds like this that work pretty good in Greece and Slovenia, dont work at civilized countries like Denmark

ghehehe! Naah, beeing somewhat still out of the EU (BALKAN RULES =)) has its benefits too. People steel and break your stuff just for the fun of it, true; and laws are so stupid that anyone w/ an IQ over 100 can easily pull of something "not so legal" and get away with it. But thats not so bad now is it. Actually it depends on which side you're on. Bad guys or good guys. =)

Okay im sorry, too much OT. Back to suspension.

I've been browsing the net and came across theese Koni Coilovers. Does anybody know if they fit 86?

Im hearing only about Koni yellows.. read about them that they are pretty expensive compared to what they offer, and that they are not suited for drifting. So i wonder why are they so popular?

And what about others (KW, H&R etc)? Are there really so few setups that fit the hachi?

And one more question about progressive spring setups (double springs etc) A friend of mine who does rallies says progressive coilovers are kickass, that you can go over bumps much more agressively (sounds great for normal road racing - our roads here are in shitty state, so that would be nice). But then some time ago i read about progressives beeing not cool - i think i read that on club4ag tech ref. So what are your views on this?

Progressive is cool...when setup right.
Most companies haven't got a clue of what a good setup is, let alone that they produce one..I have seen insane setups even from renowned companies like Billstein..gues its the dollar that rules these days and all most customers want is good looks.

Koni's are a great shock. They provide life long guarantees and are really good track shocks with some degree of streetability. Drifting is a complete different ball game, so you could sacrifice some roadholding for superior controll of body movement. Different strokes for different folks.

Just on the earlier question about the 4 link rear setup. If you purchase adjustable 4 links, does it make traction brackets redundant?

Big T, traction brackets alter the angle of the lower link the adjustable links dont alter the angle as they still have to mount to the same position.
