This is SO true! I just wish I had cleaned and/or painted every little thing - but maybe some day Smile

BTW I spend about the same: €8500 incl a Blacktop + VEMS ECU

Sarcasme is just one of the things I offer Wink

This is exactly what i feel too! I want to restore the car and i know it is not an easy job. I see you have a very nice place with a lot of space to work on your own. I have a smaller one but i think i could do it.

I have a friend of mine who will help me! He does argon welding and everything that has to so with bodywork, even painting. He said that he would help me and he is really good.

I think thats the only hope not to spend a lot of money on a bodyshop.

Anyway thanks for your reply and sorry for the offtopic!

Keep up the good job

Hey, I didnt knew that you wanna do this to your car!Nice!I think that this should be done to every car is that old...That's the way I feel too, you should do all this job, just because it makes you feel well...C'mon, start it!

Haris,

yes i think of this all the time. I'm not ready yet but i'll try to start after 15-20 of August if everything goes as i have planned it.

No engine rebuilt though. Just total body repair new suspension parts (bushings shocks springs) and interior.

I hope i'll manage to finish this project if i start it. I'm really anxious. Undecided

Well, only one picture but's lot of work involved.
Also the picture isn't very good because it was took with my cellphone.

The rear axle was sandblasted, painted (powder coated), 4.77 final gear ratio, Kaaz 2 way lsd, goodridge brake lines and powerflex bushes.
Also all bearing and gaskets are new...

Will follow some pics already mounted

sorry mate but why the fuck then buy a 2 way lsd? its noise and only effective on the circuit?

Your rebuild is amazing though I hope you protect the under side of the body because the white paint won't be visable within a short time and the underbody will damage. If you treat it with rust protection its a safe keeping for the car!

For Street Drift Purposes, usually i drive harder on street as i do in circuit.
Is the same reason as i had choosen a closer gear ratio... Evil

I will also do some track-days but since i also have an Evo VI, i have to use both... Thumbs up!

It is treated with rust protection... but not too much... i don't run on gravel roads... Thumbs up!
