i have the wrong arms on my 86
hey guys, i have taken a look at my arms and realise one is different from the other.the right one is ae86 but i dont know what the left one is from. do any of u guys know what car it came off of? also do u know what the numbers on them supposed to mean or signify?the left arm says 7L and the right says R8.the left wheel which has the wrong arm also had more camber than the normal ae86 one.
any info would b a great help. thanks. |

looks like its from a corona or celica, also it looks like your lower control arm is from said car too one the one side which would account for the extra camber.

Yeah you probably have RA40 LCA with control arms on their. There is a extra bracket stopper near your swaybar link (in picture) that gives it away. This LCA has extra 1cm of length over AE86 and more camber as well
 , also bolton fit as well, but obviously he didn't bother to change control arm. If this is the car, u should change either to match and get a proper alignment done with tie rods, tension rods etc. |
