Ok, small update. Nearly fucked up my eye becuase I was grinding without glasses Never do that again. Luckaliy all is well and I still have dual view.

I finished the polish. The pictures don't show it that good but its really smooth. Took me a small angle grinder with sanding paper to get it truly polished. You wouldn't believe how much junk is on a side wall of a lower block.

So the lower block is now to be washed and measured and bored or honed if needed. (gonna leave that to the pros)

Small nice twist is that Daniel borrowed me his spare engine which I put into my car yesterday. I blew up my ignitor trying to get it work but I will get it working monday or tuesday. Then again its of the MOT.

Picture of the old engine that was in. I changed the cam covers because these where grinded and I have a bad history with cam covers.

Will need to see if I get the engine running with new coil ignitor

Ivan came by to help me and we got the car running. We had some issues with ground or wires (we didn't truly found the issue)

But it runs and drives again. So going to the MOT tomorrow.

I passed MOT. Damn after 3 years and 5 months the car is road legal once more.

Thank you Daniel for borrowing me the engine and thanks Ivan for help sorting the electrical issue.
