Yes m8,

that sounds great Thumbs up! have they binned the dizzy and gone to coil packs for it ?

I looked at a combination of megasquirt and megaspark but it was a lot of pissing about making up a loom and fabricating some crank trigger sensor and other bits. I'm no good with wiring and stuff LOL.

Regards Ian.

New bits for hachi
Hello again folks...

The new Tokico HTS suspension arrived this morning. My car should be sweet again by the weekend ready for silverstone.

Anyone know a source that I could get some of the tokico bolt on adjusters for the tops of the dampers from - will save needing the adjuster tool ?

Hi Ian,

Are you using oe rear brakes,as i can´t get Mintex 1144 for the rear for mine.

If it´s OE rearbrakes, can you give me the part number, then i can order them.

Thanks,

Sure am Skassa,

I have enlarged Nissan s13 vented rear brake disks running with caliper relocation brackets. I have std rear calipers and mintex 1144 pads.

Questmead in the UK sell them (and 1155 compound) They are £48.31 including VAT - but fortunately I won a brand new set on ebay for £17 Thumbs up!

I have the box at home in the garage so I will try and get you the part number.

Regards Ian.

Juhu,
That´s great,if you could get the number!

as the oe pads on mine are burned away after the Japmeet in Sweden, they are all white now,and i can take them apart with my fingers(really bad)

Skassa,

the mintex part number is

MDB1198M1144

if you want them in 1155 compound just replace the last 4 numbers.
I haven't tried fitting them yet but they look the correct shape and size.

As for the s13 rears - I've never disassembled them but it works like this:

A bracket has been made that bolts onto the original caliper mounting points on the rear axle. This moves the caliper out to accommodate the s13 disk. As the s13 uses the same stud pattern as the ae86 so the disk just slides right onto the hub. The only other thing that appears to have been done is that a sleave has been made to fit in the centre hole of the disk as they are a slightly larger diameter...and I think thats about it.

I will try and get some photos if I do the pads this weekend - depends if we have time but if the rear suspension is coming off it will only be a 10 minute job to switch them (note to self : get new tub of copper/slip grease).

Regards Ian.
