New Old Scool reproduction rims
I dunno.. although I did weigh them when they were still around the house.
Just been looking around and it seems the ones I bought are an older type.. not necessarily the same weight as the RB's.
here's a pic of the model I have (in 4x100 pcd):

The RB's are supposedly around the 7kg mark..

from http://www.wheelweights.net/

ROTA RB - cast - 15x7 (8 probably?) - 14,4 lbs = 6.53 kg

Not sure if thats the same rim coz of the J7 width, i thinky maybe its meant 8"... anyway if those are 6.5 kg then the 13" must be around 5-6kg..

According to Rota´s webpage, they make the RB´s in both 7 and 8x15"

Actually the 13x8s are MASSIVELY over engineered for the loads they'll see. Maybe they were originally intended for rally use or something..Anyway, depending on the scales used, the 13x8RB's weigh anywhere between 15 and 16.1 LBS..that last weight coming from lab scales Huh The version Ivan is referring to is even heavier due to the 3pc look.
On the positive side..they are damn cheap for rally strength wheels. You'll have to do your best to ever bend one of these babies.

The 15x7s have hollow spokes and mounting pads with reliefs cut into them. The 13x8s are solid everywhere.

That said: the 15x7s are heavy too...comparing them to konig heliums @ 11lbs and same price, or 9.8 lbs for the slightly more expensive enkei RPF1. My 14.6 starsharks are @ 10lbs too.

Ok, I did a small comparison on the 1-piece Minilite Mag copies currently easily available in 15x7" and 15x8". I've listed the weight of the wheel, smallest offset available and approximate price for one wheel, not including shipping costs.

[code:1:6c67a02265]
15x7

Compomotive ML 9.5kg -12 217eur (autoracing.fi)
Rota RB 6.5kg +12 159eur (Rota Finland?)
König Rewind 6.6kg 0 124eur (T3 USA, incl. 25% tax)
Minilite Mag Style ~7.4kg -6 293eur (euroracing.fi)
Superlite Classic 8.6kg +12 172eur (Superlite UK, incl. 16% VAT)

15x8

Compomotive ML 10kg -24 228eur (autoracing.fi)
Superlite Classic 9.3kg -4 189eur (Superlite UK, incl. 16% VAT)
Rota RB ? +12 159eur (Rota, Finland)
Minilite Mag Style ? -16 320eur (euroracing.fi)
[/code:1:6c67a02265]

Looks like it's a choice between using spacers or using Compomotives.. Confused Rotas have a pretty good weight/price ratio but would need huge spacers - something like 30-35mm. Wink All 15" wheels seem to have the same price from Rota Finland but since they don't list the RB, the price is just a guess - I'll have to call them up and ask for a quote.

For the price of some of those rims, I think you would be better of investing in some truly lightweight EDM 3pc wheels. 800E should buy you a set of BBS Renn Sport rims that are light rebuildable and the original look that many of the japanese oldscool rims tried to copy.
