No sir, Trueno means Thunder in Spanish, Levin is some sort of old english "Gaelic" for Lighting.

PS: form wikipedia: "Gaelic as an adjective means "pertaining to the Gaels", including language and culture. As a noun, it may refer to the group of languages spoken by the Gaels, or to any one of the individual languages. It is a member of the Goidelic branch of the Celtic languages, and includes Scots Gaelic, Irish and Manx. These are distinct from the Brythonic group of Celtic languages, which is composed of Cornish, Breton and Welsh"

I can confirm it! Big Grin
I once had a dinner with some friends and gave them a ride in the Trueno. One of them was a Spanish girl and she was really amazed that the Japanese car was called Thunder and she was having a ride in the thunder! Big Grin Big Grin

Also if you search on trueno on images.google.com you will come across some spanish Captain Trueno comics. Wink

But we already knew that a long time ago:

Levin haven't translation to Spanish.

Here in Spain for example the Mitsubishi Pajero must change the name to "Montero" because Pajero is a committed name....

To confirm, the letter V does not exist in celtic language, so that rules that out.

As far as I can recall that never happened: one of the other people in the car was my GF! Otherwise she probably would not be my GF right now. Big Grin
