The gunmetal colour is soo cool. Exterior would be awesome that colour!

Wheels are Work Equp 03 15x9J ET-15

Really cant decide on the colour - maybe I should stay white to be on the safe side and to make it easier to patch up when it gets bashed on track.

lassetn Wrote:hallo do you still oven the rims on page 2 and 4 they are nice whar are thy called

Unfortunately not I sold them all to fund these ones.

the dished/gold centre wheels were Speedstar Longchamp XRX - 15x7.5J ET0 - Rikard now owns these
the dished/silver centre wheels were Dori 2 - 15x7.5J ET+13

Regards Ian.

Nice progress there!Aren't you going to use baffles on your tank?I would say these are a must have in a race car, to prevent fuel starvation during continuously cornering. In case you want to keep the original fuel tank, have you considered utilizing foam special for this job? (I dont know how it's called in Engish, but it's a foam that's placed inside the fuel tank and acts baffles  ) As long as the exterior colour is concairned, I suggest that you keep it white! It will look awesome! Thumbs up!

Ian, I was hoping you could do me a favor. Could you messure the centercaps for those Equips? Or just the centerhole diameter? I'm looking for center caps for my old style Equip 01s so I'm hoping its about 65mm. Thanks!

Sarcasme is just one of the things I offer Wink

Hey Ian!

Just when I thought you couldn't possible do more to astonish me! You get a set of the most beautiful rims for the AE86 EVER! Man I really envy you. That is going to be one sweet supercar! (Yes if you put a Honda s2000 engine in an AE86 you DO have a supercar Thumbs up! )

Good luck with the project, I'll stay tuned Smile

Hey Ian,

How are you gonna mount your wheels?
I have the same outer offset for the rear laying around in my room, but I cant deside if i have to go for overfenders, golf fenders or rolling the stock arches. So i was just wondering what you are gonna do...

hey great work looks amazing...if it was me i would definetly stick to white for the exterior but i would paint the middle of the wheels in the same gunmetal as the interior just to keep it nicely color coded...again great work good luck with the rest of it.
