Been to see it today for the first time in a while. My god RS have made such a nice job.

I switched out the cam cover for the spoon kevlar one I had in the garage to hide the engines maker (we'll as if people wont know what its from LOL).

and I took a look under the car now the suspension is re-assembled. As new basically.

I've sold the 15x7.5J XRX and 15x8J and gone for some 18x8J instead.

Only joking.

Used 15x9J ET-10 Work Equip 03's. I just have to finish tidying them up - here is part of one almost done.

I will have to be on the lookout for another pair so I have a spare at some point. Still very happy - but financially tired LOL.

Regards Ian.

When it's finished I just have to come to the uk to see it in the flesh someday. And i'll be nagging you for a ride Tongue

Wheels now cleanned up the best I can.

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Ian.G's Track/Drift Levin.]

Hopefully today my new Toyo T1-R 195/50 15 tyres will arrive and they can go and be fitted tomorrow. Thumbs up! I also got some new lightweight wheelnuts to go on the car as my old ones were pretty tatty.

The roof has now been welded back onto the car and all the appropriate filling work done. It just needs flatting down and then its ready for paint. I was toying with painting the outside of the car in the same gunmetal as the interior but I am really tempted to keep it white as its more original toyota colour.

Work on the fuel system will start soon which includes:

* installing the walboro fuel pump in the ae86 tank cartridge

* Modifications to the cartridge itself to remove the normal in/out/breather fuel lines and replace them with -6 unions so the fuel line can be connected.

* -6 bulkhead connectors into the boot floor and front firewall so the lines get ran inside the car

* all -6 fittings required to link the aeromotive pressure reg, filter and fuel rail into the rest of the system.

* new roll-over value/breather valve fitted onto the cartridge in place of the return beather line that would normally run the to charcoal canister in the engine bay.

Will let you know when there is something more to see.

Regards Ian.
