The bellhousing was made by my friend with his one fair hands, as was the dry sump pan, the fuel rails, ITB trumpets etc. He just happens to have his own carbon fibre facility with an autoclave and big oven.

The gearbox is 6 speed sequential and I belive it is made by gemini transmissions (not 100% sure on that bit).

Ian.G's Track/Drift Levin.
I have a slowdown whilst waiting for parts from the USA and also waiting for my fabricator to move premises - we should be back on track in a week or so. I want to see progress too you know !!!

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Ian.G's Track/Drift Levin.]

The only thing I've done in the last week or so is rebuild the gearbox, check over the clutch, flywheel, clutchfork and slave cylinder and bolt it all back onto the engine.

I'm just waiting and waiting and waiting Crying totally out of my control.

Regards Ian.

Ian.G's Track/Drift Levin.
New box of shiney precious things came on saturday whilst I was at EuroDrift.

Hmmm inlet manifold and fuel rail

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Ian.G's Track/Drift Levin.]

Hmmm 51mm tapered individual throttle bodies with 45deg injector pockets and linkage arms.

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Ian.G's Track/Drift Levin.]

Hmmm trumpets - significantly lighter than the T3 items on my old 20v ITB setup

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Ian.G's Track/Drift Levin.]

All that remains now is to decide how I am going to regulate fuel pressure. I could get one of these from Jenvey which is a straight -6 connection onto the end of the rail...

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Ian.G's Track/Drift Levin.]

they do them for Bosch 7.5mm and 9.4 regulators. This is a nice clean and tidy solution. The other option is to run a remote pressure regulator - something like this.

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Ian.G's Track/Drift Levin.]

I would prefer to use the regulator housing from jenvey - just have to make sure its up to the job first.

The only other thing I have to get now is the TPS Pot/Throttle Potentiometre. The one I need looks like this:

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Ian.G's Track/Drift Levin.]

Its known as a Colvern CP17/715.

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Ian.G's Track/Drift Levin.]

I belive that RS Components sell them for about £18 - just have to find the product on the web site. Anyone help ?

Tonight I will hopefully being to remove the inlet manifold from the F20 lump to figure out what bits are no longer required (bet there is a shit load of immissions crap that can come of the engine now)

Regards Ian.
