An UP for a very old topic...

Does somebody know if the distributor and so the cables of an '84-87 MAP version 4A-GE will fit a '92 MAPped smallport 4A-GE?

The simply reason because I ask this that I have my distributor cap broken on one smallport engine and have almost new Magnecor cables for my old engine. And ofcourse the OEM distributor and cables are expensive like hell for the smallport as well.

Dumb question
