AE86 came in with various diffs depending on the countrys
 But the two common ones are T282/T283 or T292/T293 ('3' at the end indicates factory LSD fitted). Zenki type were fitted with 4.1 and Kouki 4.3. Higher gearing is nice but at the expense at higher reving engine and lower topspeeds. Get something that suits. 3.9 if you want economy style S-series diff ratios or have some huge torque beast that doesn't need to rev. Not sure if the crown/pinion are compatible but I know LSD are not for these units - wouldn't hurt doing some research there before investing But actually are you sure its that part?
