AE86 rear axle weight
No prob, actually, once you add wheels and tires, the rear axle sits right at 100kg unsprung weight. So it really just depends on what anyone is trying to lift.

AE86 rear axle weight
Reviving this thread as I'm about to install a Feroza rear axle on my 86.
Confirming that OEM late/kouki/thicker/25mm shafts/axles weight 11,3kg without bolts. Daihatsu Feroza/Rocky LSD rear axle detailed weighting 1. Each shaft/axle (converted PCD to 4x114,3): 7,20kg => 14,4kg for both 2. LSD differential, crown, pinion and pumpkin: 22,70kg 3. Axle/diff housing (no oil): 18,50kg So the Feroza/Rocky axle without brakes, panhard, swaybar etc weights 55,60kg in total vs the 86 axle which according to you weights 46kg. That's 10kg added weight.
