Time for a little update.
Look ma', no stands! (Well... not under the engine anyway.) ![]() Drilled the engine mounts yesterday and the engine could hang there by itself for the first time without stands. Unfortunately, the right mount (left in the picture) ended up about 5mm too low. Nothing a pneumatic grinder and the old welding machine couldn't fix though. I guess the japanese thought of me when they designed this car. The power drill fit exactly in the hole for the headlight. ![]() On the other side, on the other hand... ![]() ..I had to remove some metal.. ![]() ..just to weld it back after I had finished drilling. ![]() This is what you could make if the hole is marked on the inside of the plate and you need to drill it from the outside.. ![]() I have a webserver under my kichen table with a picture gallery.. (Sorry about the folder names being in swedish..) http://pugho.no-ip.com/gallery/stuff/Keffo/ Using: -98 Camry 3.0 V6 Abusing : -85 Corolla 2.0 GTi |
