axle for AE86 diff???

Just to return to this, because I had a hunch that things would work out, but wasn't 100% sure.
I just went into the cellar to try and fit the AE86 belhousing onto the TA22GT rear axle housing. They go together like they were made for each other. All the holes line up and also the axles line up perfectly. Would have made some pictures, but the camera is back at home... All I have to do now is shorten the AE86 axles on a lathe, figure out a way to make new spring brackets and align them and finally adopt a rear disc brake system from some car on another.... A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |
