In one of the previous photos, I saw the windshield missing, so I assumed you got rid of the broken windshield. I didn't expect you to put it back in that state. Huh
Then again, it's a project car, and it makes sense to glue a cracked one back in if you need to take it out again.
Yeah wasn't originally the plan to use it, I ordered a Daewoo one.
But it just didn't made sense to use it with the state of the body.

That's a cool style! Cool so full red instead of just changing the blue for red and leaving the yellow. Makes more sense Smile

This is a late T series T50 out of a Charmant so it was luckily a straight swap.

Is this a "gen3" T50? I have a spare T50 which came with a 2T bellhouse, but it's different to the T50 that came with a 4A one ... it needs a spacer to hold the input bearing to correctly fit a 4A bellhouse (they bolt up fine) according to the internet otherwise they blow up.

EDIT; should add a picture for future reference since all data is becoming rare.

Left box came with a 2T bellhouse, 22-spline output with the correct shifter position (gen2)
Right is from a 4A AE86, also 22-spline (gen3)

A gen1 with 20-spline output also exists (I have one in my green car for some reason, but with different internals)

Notice the difference in input bearing. I don't have the tools by hand to correctly measure them, but by looking up the part numbers of both bearings the width differs.

Nice progress again Hurray!
Haha yeah completely one colour, not a fan of the original livery.
Also the yellow is brushed on.

Think its also a gen2, it has the same bearing as your left one wich indeed differs in width only.
If you check the 86 manual the 4A also needs this spacer.
But what i've red online somehow not all people had them, perhaps those where in spec?
CM autohaus on youtube has a video about it.

I have a gen1 as well and made some photos to compare them all.
Because indeed info is very hard to find these days :/
