Krullibulls Ae86 BEAMS is the only way

My plan to get the cage done in January didn't go as planed. Had a bunch of other stuff to do, mostly with our 8h endurance race scrapcar.





This year our choice fell on a dirty Datsun Primera GT. Knocked out a half cage in that.


But on to the AE86.



Had to make a interesting notch for the diagonal in the main hoop. This was done manually without the notcher as there were too many angles involved.



But I got it to fit. Sorry that my welds are not "Instagram-showoff-pretty" lol.



And here is were I'm at with the cage right now. Need to mock up the seat to see if can go with straight doorbars or if I have to use Nascar doors.
