Help with Wiring
Hey,
Can any one help out with a wiring diagram of a AE86? Am putting mine onto Webbers but need to know what happens if I make the computer redundent. Does the computer run the dash? I want to retain the ability of putting the car back on injection if for some reason I decide to, so don't want to cut original loom. What are my options?  Help would be wicked good!!!!! Cheers |

Help with Wiring
We've already talked about using the original ECU for ignition when running carbs - check this thread;
http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/carbureti...4ag/t/4426 The only thing in the dash run by ECU is the 'check engine' -light, but it also controls the fuel pump so when using a mechanical distributor, you can't remove the ECU altogether unless you hardwire the pump to run. |
