Whee, engine is finally in. Took some pictures. Once I was browsing them on my computer. My computer surprised me with an old picture. And its nice to see the difference.

some pics of my strut spacer. And my bucket seat. simple and cheap but a whole lot better than the standard eats

looking good - how much lower are your springs? as I have put my spacer below the strut as my springs lower the car only a mere 30mm ...

I'm still not a big fan of those strut spacers, but I guess time will tell if they are an acceptable solution for a trackcar.
Let me know when you get that old engine of mine running again. I'm quite curious how long it will hold out under abuse.

Ok status update. Been working on the car just about all weekends but simply didn't update. I lend IBMfd3s from the forum my fuel tank about 2 years ago. And now i needed it back

Also my intention was to create new fuel and brake lines trough the car. But it simply now granting me the time and money to do that now. So I decided to refurbish the original lines. I sanded all bad spots to the metal and coated them with black with zinc layer in it. It should be fine.

Also finished the trunk (it closes again) and the rear window moldings.

Need to do list:

- Fit bumpers
- Fit city lights
- fit oil cooler
- Fit gas tank
- Fit fuel lines
- Fit rear brake line

Connect it and go the rest of the car is done. Having troubles with the bucket seats so I'll put it the standard ones for now so that I can get MOT and start driving.
