i quees the 86 i am getting is has a carb, i thought these were fuel injected??? what is going in here.

Option one - you just bought tuned 4AGE Rolla ! Congrats !
Option two - you bought SR5 Rolla. One cam, carburator, drum brakes rear. Needs upgrade.

Uhm, do you have pictures of your hachi? Dumb question

Edit:
Upgrade means you have to swap the engine and wireloom. Should be doable within a few days. Some people around here have done it: TE71Corolla did mine (when it was his car) and P-Nuts car as well. ZaX also did one.

Upgrade can be made two classic ways:
1. buy rusted GTS AE86, use all engine, wiring, rear end components. + some goodies. Good thing if ypu just need AE86 GTS stock.
2. buy engine (4AGE) + rear end (AE86) with disc brakes and LSD unit. Engine can be converted for sidedraught carburators - no need of complex wiring loom, ECU etc., more response and (maybe) power, no rev limiter. This is more exciting way but you will need carburators, fuel pump, intake adapter plate and some way to manage ignition.
