EE80Liftback Wrote:Do you have something like license papers with the shell so you can get it road legal? Or is that not the plan anyway?

I have papers with the chassis, original dutch papers for a 3 door car. Thumbs up!

The color will stay under discussion untill the day before painting probably. Cool

I'm not a scooby fan, but I must say that I wouldn't mind driving one like this:

Although I have to admit I would immediately remove that big wing on the back... Too much attention. Big Grin
On the other hand your nr. 4 is also an excellent wolf in sheeps clothing. >Smile

NR: 4 will stay a favorite of mine, so many people were amazed by this car.
Let alone fooled, every one miscalculated how fast this thing is.

haha, great thread there!

that Nr4 is really a sleeper....cause noone would even think it something more than a standard 1.8 litre G'something' impreza without the scoops on the bonnet and the wing on the rearWink

but banpei, the wing on the rear on that b22 is for purposeWink

great work man! wish you all the best with that one!Wink

cheers, adam

nice score on the prodrive shell!

i work on wrx's almost every day of the year, and quite a few rally cars over here.

what version is the car, looks like a IV, early type cage without a carlos bar...either way...i would love to have a genuine prodrive built shell!

keep us updated

Hi Andy!

Thanks I'm very happy with the shell, it's a 1997 shell as far as I can see.
I have no history on it, although I would love to know where the car has been before.

I am no mechanic or anything, what is a Carlos bar?

the best way i can describe it is a bar going from the base of the front A pillar tube straight up to the join onto the same front tube - where the front roof bar is...it is name after Carlos Sainz's massive roll over in 1993 i think here in Australia, the car suffered a huge weak point at the front roof area, and after than they phased it in...i think its madatory for all cages built now to have them
