Ian.G Wrote:I think its probably an early JDM S13 disk - proving hard - maybe I will have to try and Email NAMS/Nagisa and see what they can do to help

S13 always been drum&disc at the rear. If it's JDM and Nissan related the only disc that I could think of is from a Q-Model S14 (non turbo version) as they were 4lug too

there are similar options here in australia... and they use the s13 disc as they dont use an internal drum brake. they utilise the same handbrake mechanism, ie caliper, as the ae86... the calipers from an s13 have ebrake connections, the later 5 stud s chassis stuff doesnt.

As aus never got the s13, its fair to say all our s13 information is jdm based.

fantapants - that sounds like it could be the one - these dont appear to be designed for use with an internal drum mechanism for the hand brake - I'm using standard 86 rear calipers with the cable pulls.

So you maybe thing they are a rear disk of an early JDM 180sx ?

Regards Ian.

its getting a bit beyond my pay grade Tongue BUT i cant scratch that much nissan info from the back of my brain lol.

Ajps in adelaide is sellling a fabricated mount adaptor to use the 86 brake caliper and the s13 sedan shell rotor. These didnt use an internal drum brake setup, at least not in any of the models that have been imported from japan. Fwiw i THOUGHT this was the case for all the 4 stud s'series the 5 stud changeover was when they went to internal drumbrake.

Also for got to mention i really dig the car mate Smile been a fan for years!
