Hi folks - its been a while
![]() I've been so busy doing photography for drifted.com for the last few years the car has taken a bit of a back seat - but - it should be back on the road again next week ![]() ![]() Its so nice to have it as a fully working car again So - after me and Paz had done some minor changes to the Geometry the other weekend I had to at least make sure it would go in a straight line (well - the steering wheel points forward - it never ever really goes in a completely straight line LOL). Seemed rude not to make a little video of the occasion. Hitting VTEC...Doing a Skid Few little niggles to sort out though. 1. Springs on the pedal box have seen better days and the dont return very well - Mr Toyota has discontinued them now - anyone have any spares ? know what else will fit ? 2. Loads of travel in brake pedal - even after 4 bleeds of the system. I know the front brakes are completely new so its going to be a while before the friction builds up but something isn't quite right. The brake booster is getting good vacuum from the engine - and the one way valve is in the right way....I dunno ? maybe the pedal box needs the pin shortening/lengthening that goes into the brake booster through the firewall ? 3. Back disks are making horrible noises - my car has NAMS caliper relocation brakets to space out the AE86 standard rear calipers to use what I believe are Dirty Neesan S13 rear solid disks ![]() As far as I know these are S13 258mm disks with the standard 4x114.3 stud pattern - they haven't been re-drilled. I've had a good look about for these disks but most S13 ones seem to be a completely different size to that - anyone have any ideas ? Could do with a set pronto. Anyway - hope you like and I'll hopefully get some more footage once the car is allowed out on the roads. Ian. Regards Ian. ![]() |

it's hard to tell from the picture but S13 have a drum e-brake on the rear and the disc don't look like they have deep enough bell on that pic to accommodate that.

I think its probably an early JDM S13 disk - proving hard - maybe I will have to try and Email NAMS/Nagisa and see what they can do to help
