mo-racing: ZaX needed some pics of T-50 internals and replacing sychromesh. Intake manifold welding was done because at the welded points (between bolts) the T3 adapter was wider than the manifold and gasket, so there was a slight possibility of air escaping from there. Now, the welds have increased the width at those specific points, so the gasket and T3 adapter fit spot on.

Ivan: The injectors came with the motor. They are not new. I'll ask for you though.

good luck with the synchros. i did not change them this time couse you have to pull out every singel gear and synchro-body to get to 1st,2nd and 3rd gear. they are the last ones on the shaft Sad

note that gearbox parts are very expensive. the whole synchros and bearings add up to about 700eur +. i will stay with heel and toe driving and forget about the synchros Smile

still need some pics, zax?

ALMOST THERE GUYS!

Engine and gearbox are in. Wire loom is NEW. New cables, custom made, only 2 cut wires.

You can see why the intake manifold was welded in the T3_adapter_InPlace picture. Now it fits perfectly.

Should drive off on Saturday afternoon, hopefully Thumbs up!

Me? I didn't do anything with it Tongue

Seriously now, I prefer to leave the electronics stuff to the specialists. To answer your question, I don't know why he opened it, probably to check the circuitry.

Can anyone tell me what makes a racing clutch disk and why powerful cars always have 3 spoke or 4 spoke disks?

i see. T3 adapter to remove TVIS.
(you have to tell us later what power this makes at top end and what is lost at lower revs if you have an old dyno plot to compare)

3 or 4 spoke clutches? i just know that you get more pressure when you reduce the survaface. maybee the new clutch-material needs more pressure to work right? not shure on this.

re nmwisima it's not a matter of luck! It's matter of priorities in fund allocation (ask my previos girlfriend Big Grin ).

Luckily my current girlfriend has joined me on track (with the mini) twice already and appears to be very happy with track racing. Actually, the second time a friend with a S13 200SX joined us and she had a few sideways lap on the co-drivers seat. The funny thing is she came out screaming: "That was AWESOME! When do you get the Corolla back?!?!" Respect!

thanks mo!
