Because Nissan front suspension knuckles have many advantages.
For example stronger hubs and bearings.

Larger dimension front disks and stronger brake calipers ''bolt on'' without any customizing. Also the Sumitomo brake calipers are made from aluminum and with pistons from Project Mu they have huge heat resistance.
The front knuckles have a lot of advantages about the alignment.

Same things about the rear suspension.
Must more traction, suspension works must must better in the circuit in very hard heat and revolution conditions.
Very strong transmission axles rear hubs and bearing.Same things as front about the brakes. Extremely strong differential.
Fully adjustable rear alignment.I can adjust every thing i want.

More over all the links, tie rods, tie rods ends, tensions rods, traction rods and arms front and rear, are adjustable from Ikeya Formula.

Finally my AE86 is very light so there is no need of power.
I need revolutions transmission and traction.

Here is how looks like my friend's Andreas AE86 which I'm working on.
Front suspension with s13 knuckles, lower arms, tie rods- tie rods ends and brakes conversion with ohlins suspension.
Reinforced front lower arms with Nagissa hyper roll center adapters ball joints and urethane bushes.

I'm afraid not, because these calipers are from Skyline BNR32 with front brake disks diameter 296mm and rear brake disks diameter 297mm.

Also you can use single piston calipers from S13 with 280mm brake disks.

If you want 4 piston brake calipers you should use from S15 or S14 who use same brake disks with the S13.
The only disadvantage with these calipers is their weight, because are made from cast iron.

If you have enough money you should buy historic range 4 piston calipers from AP Racing.
You can use them with 260mm or 280mm brake disks, even if you have 13inch rims.
The best thing with these calipers is they have blank brackets.

Great job mate. Nice to see such a nice 86 from Greece. With our prices, i think that you have spend a lot of money.

Did you actualy built the engine in your kitchen, as the photos show.

About the calipers, i think that with some smaller disks ( around 260mm) they could fit in 14s.

I see a lot of thought through details.. nice build!
But I'm not a fan of the nissan front suspension. The balljoint looks to be sitting at a pretty unhealthy angle, but then again I'm no balljoint expert.

I'm not understand what do you mean.
They are working without any stressing, in the photos they are in the zero position, exactly where they must be.
Also these ball joints are made from Nagissa and they can take much more angle than genuine Nissan ball joints.
Maybe do you mean the boot of the left ball joint?
However the front suspension now have awesome handling and very quit steering response with awesome feeling on the steering wheel.
