Fuel problem ?
If i drive true a fast corner with a high speed, my 4a-ge sometimes stops making power.

It really looks like the engine don't get enough fuell, for a few seconds.
I think the problem is in the fuel tank or filter... but i am not sure because the car only have this problems in the large corners.

Also my fuel-gauge doesn't work well, maybe this has something to do with the same problem ??

If somebody can help me with this problem, i would be thankfull!

Fuel problem ?
tank empty, fuel sloshes away from pickup. Probably happens in right hand corners? That's what happend to me mates car on Zandvoort in every right hand corner when the tank was below 1/4.

maybe all your fuell is going to one side of the tank so the pickup cannot pickup fuel.
you have this with a full tank too? or only with half a tank?

Fuel problem ?
Sounds like fuel starvation to me too...I have the same exact problem in my volvo 360. But it is not common on 4age's as far as I know. Maybe you have an SR5 fueltank, which lacks the internal 'bucket' around the fuelpump that's supposed to keep fuel around the pump.

Fuel problem ?
hmm okei, i also thought a bit like this was the problem actually.
i also thought maybe the fuel filter ? but then the problem also would be if i drive in a straigt line?

Maybe i need to inspect/clean the tank and change filter?

Fuel problem ?
The fuel readout issue is fairly common, I have the same issue and know of many people who have mentioned it before. I don't believe it's cause for concern and doubt the loss of power is related since I never used to suffer anything like it, just keep a close eye on your fuel light.

As for the loss of power itself, it could potentially be due to an electrical issue, such as a bad ground, short circuit or a bad connection on the distributor. Have the engine running and try wriggling a few wires to see if there is a change in revs.

Something else it could be (and is probably more likely) is a vacuum leak. Check the vacuum lines for cracks and like the electrical cables, move them around to see if anything changes.

Fuel problem ?
Got fuel starvation problems with my hachi on the track!
If the tank is below 1/4 or so the engine will get no more fuel at the end of long corners. After 2 or 3 seconds withiout corners it restarts to act normal. Thats about the point when my car tells me to refuel it Cool
