Desert Drifter
Hey, guys. I'm known as "David Shinsaki" my real first name is David, but I'm not of Asian appearance. I'm from Australia. Bendigo, to be exact, and I am ashamed to say that up until I watched Initial D last year, I used to think the Eight-Six was a junk heap worth being scrapped. But after a few episodes, I began to love the way it looked as it drifted corners, and now I find myself unable to resist them. Especially the Sprinter Trueno model. Prefferably the GT-Apex, but I'd be happy with a Levin or even a Celica. I couldn't belive that the Celica I see all the time was calssed as an AE87. Anyhow, if you love the Trueno as much as I do, then feel free to email me.

Nope, indeed a 4AGE Celica is an AA modelcode. And the Celica never got further than the 6x series and then hopped over to the 3 digit series. Undecided

If I google on AE87 I see a lot of people naming the car as an 1987 car since they think the AE is the Corolla code and the 85 or 86 is the model year:

However: the AE88 exists and is the US GTS variant.

Doesn't matter to me if it's an Eight-Six or a Supra. I just love Toyotas. Anyhow, thanks for welcoming me.

Wow! That thing's awesome. I've got an image of my ultimate Eight-Six, that I'm trying to find on Photobucket. I'll add it in my signature when I do. Oh, I also like the Rolls Royce Phantom, Ford GLi EB Falcon, Ferrari F40, Nissan 180S, Aston Martin DB5 and *drool* Toyota Celica GT4. I love the RX-8 of Mazda too. I hope I win me one in the competition I entered. Then, I could sell it and by an AE86.
