So as you can se the back of the car is gone, this where the only way to go, thanks to bad rust work from the last owner. so hopefully by welding pipes and the back hatch to the chassi it will keep its form.

Whow, you got it sandblasted?? Did they spray something on to protect the bare metal? Is it now welding new bits in, acid bath, painting?
Are you planning to galvanise the body or something? Back looks pretty bad, hope you can weld good bits into it.. Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi

The body is zinked and painted with a two component rust protection, best we could find. yes welding has started and are looking good this far.
