Fitted the new BCracing with 6kg Front and 4.5kg Rear and im very pleased with them.

NEvertheless my trueno is scratching my tyres on the bolts that support the Trueno fenders with the bumper.... Anyone here with the same issue?

My tyres are marked from the scrathes already,....

It's somewhat normal. You basically need a lower profile connection where the bumper and fender meet at that point.

Remove the bolt (you won't need it anymore). Then trim the bumper and fender tab, but leave enough material to drill a hole through each. Then use a zip tie to connect the bumper and fender - through the drilled holes - kind of like the bolt use to. It's a bit of a bodge, but at least you can't see the zip tie from the outside and will no longer rub.

Changes to the front wings are made.... Wasn't a big deal and now after some new adjustments on my 86 coilovers the car is perfecto! Smile I'm very pleased with the handling on the BCcoilovers. The car is fully locked for grip and it is dangerous to provoke it to go sideways (no LSD yet).

Now my plan is to overhaull the rear axle. BAsically sandblast everything, new bearing on the rear shafts, new retainers, LSD with new bearings, Weir spacer and a LSD shim kit to improve the %% lock!
Will also buy new handbrake cables and paint everything new.
The halfshafts will also be aligned, and the the propeller shaft will be calibrated and will get a new bearing already bought.

THis will improve the WHP on my 86 for sure!

This weekend i'll be placing a new a bigger 16row oil cooler to deal with all my high temps on the tracks.
16Row oil cooler from Moteki (great price thanks to isac)

Yesterday, late night.... I got my shot at the dyno..... One of the best dynos in my area... With a great air flow (actually uses a unique airflow system in the Iberian Peninsula simulating the air drag at speed) and here i have.... My results..... I'm amazed.....

Now with this 162,4HP i can't figure out what is causing my engine to smoke.... Maybe the valve retainers are indeed messed up.....
Time to check what it is causing the smoke, i think that the piston bearings are not the cause of it given the fact i have this much HP.

Late night cruise.....

Cheers!

That's a pretty good number Smile At the wheels or Flywheel?

Hopefully you can get to the bottom of your oiling issue!

That is 162,4 Engine power....

I will have to overhaull my entire rear axle and driveshaft to surpass the 120WHP Smile

ditn sold me this engine on the premise that this was a good engine, a bit more than 100.000km....

Proven to be a solid engine overhall..... Great base.... =)

Well... Time for another little update on my build...

This dyno picture has captured my attention! Cool pic there...
[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Corolla GT Coupe - Royalty Black]

Now it was time to get it into my workshop and to get some new and fresh upgrades and tweaks for the 2nd of October @ Circuito Estoril.

I'll be doing only two sessions, because of my Oil smoking issues, that i know that are probably the seals and not the piston rings.... So it was time to change the oil cooler... The old one couldn't keep up with the duty..

New mounts and brackets... It is now on the OEM position! Smile
