Clutch rattling noise on deceleration

Hello community,

Long time without any technical question but these cars.... oh my....

So, i've recently rebuilt a 20V to swap for my old one.

I've balanced the pulley, crank, and flywheel.

I've assembled the engine with OEM specs and OEM ECU.

Clutch is an exedy organic.

Status: When i decel, i can hear a rattle noise from the clutch at around 3k rpm... and i can feel a huge vibration in the entire car....

If i press the clutch pedal just slightly, it stops, if I go neutral, it stops...

So i know the noise is not from my differential, and i know it's coming from my clutch.

How can i get around this? Car is still drivable, but man... these vibrations and noises are killing me...

replying to myself here... Must be a spring or the clutch plate assembly that are not perfect.

Car is still driveable, and i'll remove my gearbox to check the plate.

Bit late reply, but did you check you if your pilot bearing is still alive? Mine was broken once and i had the same experience

My bearing is also new, came with the clutch.

Maybe if i take everything apart, i can have some sort of answers here...

Even if its new it still can be faulty.
But how you describe it kinda sounds like it could also be the gearbox.
And don't forget to check the driveshaft!
Had a problem with my Miata where it sounded like it was the clutch bearing but after replacing that it wasn't fixed...
It ended up being the yoke of the driveshaft that had a hard spot when moving it side to side.

Clutch might have thrown a spring.. would be very weird for a new clutch to do that but I would not waste too much time and pull the gearbox off before you break something more expensive.
