Finally mounted the Mintex Brake pads. The surface was quite a bit smaller than the original brake pads. I thought how can these bite better... but after i mounted them and braked a few times it started to bite. If they are hot they really bite good man! Thanks!

@Whitepoint: The Apex springs lower the car about 3 cm, but the konis won't fit the front struts anymore: Mux cut them to convert them to longstroke. Or did Mux also gave you the original struts with the car? Also S.K. pm-med me about the Konis, so he has the first option.

@alimonos: AEU86 camberplates are based on the TEIN design. They should be universal to almost all shocks. You will only have trouble with Konis which have different mounting nut.

Dunno about what brand the the oilfilters are, but they are not OEM Toyota... I thought I promised 2 of them to Cavey, so there should be another 6 available.

I mean that Mux converted the car to short-stroke (less length on dampening the car). The Koni's are long stroke shocks so unless you mounted normal front struts on the car they won't fit.

I see in this pic the coilovers are still on the car:

Doc,

Don't you have springs that match to go with it? You might be able to do a full swap with Whitepoint.

Paul, as Banpei said, the struts on my hachi are shorter then stock so the koni's won't fit in them, also the height adjust system is not designed to work with springs such as Apex. You need original strut housing if you want to go back to such a system.

I could be wrong but I believe this picture was taken when I still had a KONI/APEX setup:

no springs anymore, i had an ebay coiloverkit, but i happily buy a set of springs and swap your suspension with mine!

front and rear AE86 koni yellows, long stroke (really comfy when switched to soft).
