one of my friend bought a Danstoy header:
He received it 10 months after paying
and only because he has called it many times...
another of my friends are still waiting (past 11 months)

I suggest getting the TRD Generation 3 Header or the Toda Header. Great stuff.

thanks! sure they fit LHD? I heard also about HKS, I already have HKS final so I might go for that one, but anybody knows which model fits without mods?

Silkroad also have a LHD one. It seems to have made a noticeable difference on the top of the rev range, but will not know for sure until I've had a chance to get a reference pull on the dyno... Will do it soon, however car has seen 8 hard trackdays since the dyno with stock manifold (when just rebuilt), so might have some power changes due to that. The shape of the torque curve should show the influence from this header though.
This also took at least 6 months time before arriving though..

I'm not sure if HKS had different variations, but my friend got one and it didn't fit, the pipe went straight through where the steering column is.
The headers that fit LHD that I know of are:
TRD (00642-17141-012)
Tsudo
OBX
KBD
PaceSetter
Silk Road
Dans Toy
The other headers manufactures that I know of are
HKS,
Greddy
Fujitsubo
RSR
Toda
Revolver
I've known people that have used KBD and TRD (I run TRD myself) and like them. Silk Road and Dans Toy are mighty expensive, but I haven't heard anything bad about them. The rest are... forgettable...

-techno pro spirits (the old 4-1 fit in LHD but discontinued)
-power-craft (I have contacted them and they say they don't believe there to be a problem to fit in LHD 86)
-K-works
-Garage Annex
-noby booth
-tec art's
-carland
-auto garage loft
-apexi (spira)
...

GReddy is bankrupt:

But their stock will probably last some time.

robotype - yep that looks like the later 4-1 version TRD headers
banpei - Trust/Greddy Japan is doing it's re-org thing true, but Greddy USA looks like it's going to be fine for now.
http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/12/update-gredd...still-good-to-go/
Plus it looks like they have a new header coming out that is supposed to fit LHD, but further confirmation is needed.

i have asked the question to rhdjapan, and they answer me this:
"Reportedly there can be some mounting issued when installed on Left hand drive vehicles."

I happened upon this in another forum. Apparently the Silk Road header doesn't just drop in, a fair amount of grinding is required on the steering column u-joint to fit correctly on a LHD car.

I think Silkroad has two versions, one for RHD and one for LHD. Mine dropped straight in, and was spesificly marked LHD from Silkroad...

Possibly, though he got it directly from Intec which was supposed to have done the LHD research for Silk Road.

Or doesn't it give you the feeling of holding a vibrator in your hand when holding the steering wheel?
