Just had my first track day in the car at Brands hatch the track suits the car well. Turned out to be one of the faster cars on the circuit with only the 2 seaters that were faster and some proper race prepped cars with slicks.
I am happy with the engine power but would like a little more grip in the dry. Running 185/60/14s at the moment has anyone had a improvement using different sizes of wheel 15inch etc and how wide can you go tyre wise

Jazz,
15" did fine for me, 195/55/15 if I remember correctly. Tire brand choice can do miracles though.

Sounds good I think if you go too wide with wheels the chassis would need seam welding to take the extra force.
What tyres are good for the dry I have falkens at the moment

For trackdays I have 195/50-15 Toyo R888. They're cheap and pretty sticky They really make a big difference for braking!

At front I use Toyota OEM rims 15"x7J with 195/50 Toyo Proxes R tires. When drifting, at the rear i usually use 14" wheels and tires. For grip driving, I think 195/50 R15 is ideal all around
