Hei Jan, great project! Cool
I'm trying to find suspension parts for my project Levin, especially TRD shocks and springs for the rear (4-5kg). So springs/shock rear, self-made coilovers front, RCA's, camber plates, some bushings (prothane vs new rubber, I'm not sure...) and an LSD overhaul is what I'll do first, I think.

Is there a TRD-dealer in Denmark you got those shocks from? If so, it would be great to get their email-address Smile

Hey Doc!

Sounds as if you have a very nice plan for your car! You might want to consider oem or TRD bushing instead of prothane - they are a bit noisy...

Yeah we got a TRD dealer in DK. I got his mail adress at work so I can send it to you next week Smile Send me an IM if I forget Wave

After the trip to the Ring my car has been a mess Sad The engine started leaking a lot of oil and coolant on the way home. And the rear leaks a bit as well, not much though... And one of the rear calibers started leaking when I got home Mad

As if that wasn't enough the equips got damaged by the salt on the drive home. Stupid

Now I ready to try again. The leaks are fixed and I bought these:
AE86 : Projects > My little not really The 4AGE 20V part has started
AE86 : Projects > My little not really The 4AGE 20V part has started
I'm going to a trackday this monday and I can't wait to try them out! I haven't driven a single km on these just yet but I'll test them tomorrow Very Happy

I'm looking forward to see if my brakes will hold up allright Thumbsup

So you're going to brake them in properly. Puh

But what happened to the equips? You didn't cover the entire rim with top-coating? Blonde question

Yeah I'll try to brake them in properly Evil or Very Mad Today I'll warm them up slowly and then take them off the car to rest 24h. That should be the proper way... It should make them last longer and have more grip Thumbsup

The salt made them corrode and I can't get them to shine like before the trip Sad They simply have a lot of small holes. They had a sealing layer but that wasn't enough aginst the salt... Luckily I had two of them in the boot due to tire faliure - so only two have to be proffesionaly repolished Confused

Ah okay I see. Smile
I wanted to know because I'm going to refurbish the Celica Supras soon myself. Good to know I need to be very careful with the sealing layer...

The trackday went really well! Only problem was with the radiator cap Smile The track was Padborg Park wich is a Danish Touring Car track.

The car had a lot of grip! We pulled 1,2 g around the corners and there is some improvements to do in tirepressure and wheels angels...

Even with the Toyos the brakes worked really well (stock discs/mintex 1144/regular fluid)! Discs both front and rear turned slightly blue so the the balance was great - No sign of fade Thumbsup

I was affraid that I would get passed all the time as the old AE had the lowest power there, but I think I was in the faster half Cool I went around just as fast as a brand new Civic TypeR and faster than an M5, CRX VTi, Mini Cooper, MR2 SC and so on Evil or Very Mad

Sorry about the poor quality Smile

And I hooked up my foglights at last:
AE86 : Projects > My little not really The 4AGE 20V part has started

I better get on with the 20V project soon...

Now I really have to get the 20V ready and drop in the car: My good old blue top is dead Sad RIP Sad

It died because of too low fuel pressure, it got too hot and now the oil presure is bad Sad It is still running but it wouldn't be a worthy death so I decided to pull the plug Sad I wish she could have gone while doing 7k rpm at the Ring. This is a bit easier though...

But tonight I started getting ready for the swap: The harness is gone and the engine is ready to come out. I just need to unbolt the bonnet and We're good to go Smile More to come...

Good luck with the swap!
