car is still in the garage, seems there were a few other issues other than timing, a partially blocked fuel system, ignition timing, and a few other niggle bits and pieces, so hopefully back soon Sad

fitted some nice new alloys to back of car today, but i had to take them back off as they were rubbing the arches, and i can fold bash or cut bits off as they are fibre glass.

so that means smaller tires, which is a pain in the ass Sad
they looked ok and i thought i was going to get away with it but as soon as i was on the street they were rubbing Sad

arches are fibreglass so i cant do anything with them, wither stretch or bigger arches again haha

so going with the stretch option it is cheaper lol :Very Happy

Much better mirrors Cool

You need a bumper lip mate, with those skirts and wing it would be perfect.

iv been looking at these wheels for a while now, and i think that some one to the face of the SSR mesh wheels and put them on some barrels.
the pattern on the center just looks too much like them.
oh take a look at DJexor's avatar and compare.

just done a track day at Knockhill and there are some changes coming to the car.

new tyres front and rear
the cheap shit on the front was washing out and the back was just pushing the front, and they ended up looking like this
AE86 : Projects > The Truenos Transformation
AE86 : Projects > The Truenos Transformation

so a pair of Falken ZIEX ZE-912 were ordered up for the front as I wanted real grippy stuff up front

the backs were worn to tread markers and were tractor tyres anyway so I have put some Yokohama S306 on the back
did not want mega grippy stuff on the rear for obvious reasons

I was out for 5 ten minute sessions about 8 laps a session
boiled the brake fluid on the 3rd lap of the 1st session
so ordering up some nice new racing brake fluid
ATE Racing Blue

when we bled the brakes we got nothing but froth, so was seriously screwed

noticed a bit of a squirm from the back end as well so ordered a nice shiny new T3 (Techno Toy Tuning http://www.technotoytuning.com/index2.php) panhard rod which is adjustable on the car
AE86 : Projects > The Truenos Transformation
AE86 : Projects > The Truenos Transformation

needs full alignment done also, camber toe in and toe out

got a rolling road session tomorrow so I will find out what power the car is producing

next I want to order up is the T3 rear 4 link kit
AE86 : Projects > The Truenos Transformation
