Fantastic looking car! I'm jealous.. Love the look of red/black on a trueno...especially on a coupe.

cheers guys!
Im very happy overall with the car. handles like a dream and is very well balanced!
Im hoping to get some opinions for the future plans because im still stuck on what to do.... turbo 4agze or worked N/A....
Both of them I want to do and Ill mainly be using this for drifting but also like Gymkhanas and grip racing. just not sure what setup would be right.
suspension wise i wont need any work, maybe some upgraded stabilizer bars but thats it.... im just wanting abit more power/response in the engine department... any suggestions would be helpful
Cheers Keisuke

Well, abit of an update...
I had bought another 2 86's over in japan... which i forgot about.
The white levin notchback was a Cosmo Speed Demo car, Cosmo Speed is a AE86 specialist garage and made the AE86 Initial D Trueno for the Movie.
So that one is in mint condition.
The Red on is a 4AGZE converted to Turbo, Full Run Free Kit, Evo intercooler, T25G turbo, HKS Log Manifold, and some other bits and peices
They are both at my house in japan at the moment.. will be shipping them over to NZ soon... the red one is coming first though haha
here are some pics
Sorry for the shotty images... took with a camera phone.
Cheers Keisuke

That's 12 cars in year/model alone!
Multiply that with grade (I assume no AE85, so GT and GT Apex) you will need a big garage to fit them in!

What are you planning to do with all your AE86. Is one a daily drive; one a drift? and the other one a ......
You need to put a 20V in one of them

those are some nice collections of 86 you got. must be nice to buy them from japan and have it brought to your house in New Zealand. i wonder how much did you spend on one car alone to have it shipped to your house.

One is Daily Driver - Stock Panda Notchback levin, One Im selling which was my Race/Grip Car - The one thats drifting haha
and the Turbo one will become my daily/Drift car.
Was going to buy a 20V Hatchback Trueno but decided not too as it got abit expensive. But I will see.
it costs around 1400NZD from Japan to New Zealand
so I dont know, maybe around 1000-1100 USD?
Cheers Keisuke

nice to see a coupe (notchback) fan other than myself. i also wish to own one of each. harder for me though, only left hand drive and all flip lights. oh well.
im on my third coupe right now. im doing a modified/resto on it. looks stock, but its not.
one was 84 sr5/gts and other two 85 gts'. i wouldnt mind an 86 or hatch back. but dunno, im not really fond of the kouki look or hatch back. who knows, maybe one day. if i win the lotto. lols.

Yeah, that would be a bit of a mission!
nice to hear you restoring one and making it, what we call in NZ a "sleeper".
Stock exterior, but heaps of power!
so are SR5's and GTS still AE86 models? but just with the 4AC engine?
hahahaha i am also hoping to win lotto man!!! hahahahah
great minds think alike
