Sure if you want some advice on how to put them on just let me know Thumbsup
But one thing is, you need front wheels with an offset of atleast -5 or lower or it will hit on lock. I have -12 on front and it has about 1cm clearance.

Yesterday went great, apart from a little moment right before lunch break (I spun and the engine had no fuel for a second or so) it was flawless.

The instructors were impressed and I now have my clubman drift license Cheerleader

I used the same set of wheels as i did the last time and even now they have some thread left on them Shocked

I hope i can make it to the next kamikaze cup so i can get some battle experience Wave

I'll get some pics on later

After the driftday i noticed my front wheels had been rubbing on the inside of the arch due to the extra lock. So i fitted spacers on the front (for now) but then the arches rubbed on the wheels, so i did some bashing and pulling:evil:

I know it ain't pretty, but it'll do for now.

I also fitted some lightweight wheelnuts. 4 of them weigh as much as 1 standard one Shocked

Then did some little alterations to the handbrake grip and interior.

Hopefully 8 may will be my first drift competition with my corolla.

Went to the technical check here in Belgium today. All went well seeing as it has no interior, stiffer than stiff konis, bucket seat and what not. I come to the last stop and what do they fail me on??? On the lowering springs Mad . There where no papers with them because they where on the car when i bought it, so it's not legal. I saw on the last guys look, that he wasn't gonna pass the car. He failed it on the springs, I went to talk to the chef because there are no legal springs for my corolla. When i came out i saw the guy sitting in his seat laughing at me, making fun of me. My dad had to hold me back so i wouldn't have kicked his ass.

Luckily i have the standard springs, the last owner gave them with the car, if i hadn't i would have been in a lot of trouble.

I had to pay 50 euros today, and when i i go back in 3 months i'll again have to pay 50 euros. Here they just search for minor things to fail you so you have to come back and pay again.

Also I got a warning because i can take out the keys off the car after its started. They told me the thing was broken, but i thought it was standard like this. Can you guys take out your keys after its started?

Well the only good thing about this is when i've put on the stock springs and get back from the 2nd check, i'l just put on the lowering springs and i can put on the camberplates I still had lying around here.
Thanks again to jamiemirror for making me nuts that fit Worship

Also they made a notice because i had no more rear seat or seatbelts, so now i own the world only official 2 seater ae86 Puh

Tomorrow i'll get the car ready for next thursdays driftday Wave

I hate it when people start bitching about the small things.

Good luck on the second check!

What drift day are you going to? Zolder?

I had the same problem, until i tried the reserve key, and it was fine, i couldn't take it out. So i think your problem is the same: the key you are using is weared out. So if you have the reserve key, try it. Or if you have only this one, then have a new key cutted, but not from the old one, you have to take the lock with you, to have the key cutted, using the lock as sample.

Ye i tried my spare keys and they dont come out, but it doesn't work on anything else. It thought it was normal that you can take out the keys, maybe because it is an older car or so.

@Bubble_Drift: ye i'm competing in the next kamikaze cup on 8may Cheerleader

Today went awesome, It was the 3rd round of the Kamikaze Cup @ Zolder. From 9-12 it was just practising which went great. Then from 1pm competition started. I finished best of my group and got 5th place in the total ranking so I advanced to the finals. Cheerleader Unfortunatly during the finals I spun quiet a few times because I couldn't adapt to the drying conditions. So I finished on 5th place in my 1st ever competition. I was just super excited I got in the finals. I got to battle jasper in the sr86, who won the event for a 2nd time.

The car performed great no flaws, no funny noises. Just great.

Was nice seeing you again Antonis, hope you got home ok with the steering wheel coming off.

I'll get some pics up when I have a chance, right now i'm just tired.

For those who are going, see you monday Wave

Well got pulled over by the police today (again).

He felt that my exhaust was too noisy and if he ever sees me riding on my ssr's again he'll give me a fine. Mad Mad Mad

What an idiot. Always picking on the young guy in the awesome car Puh

He can say what he wants but I ain't getting my wheels off or change my exhaust. Lol i had just gotten the pipes to make a new even noisier exhaust Evil or Very Mad Which will be made, i don't care what he said.

Before he stopped me, he was driving behind me, within like 1m of my rear bumper. When i stopped to let some pedestrians cross the street he almost hit me. Puh

Another chapter in the book of 'crappiest country EVER'.

I'm seriously thinking about moving 20km further to holland, just to get rid of these donut eating mofo's Wave
