decided i needed to be a member of this site as im currently on the hunt for an 86 and hopefully ill be able to steal all the valuble knowlege knocking about here

welcome to the forum,im a new hachi owner too,good luck with the search for yours
if you arent buying from japan go over the underbody with a finetooth comb,rot can set in quickly over here on an unprotected underbody

Be very,very carefull if you plan on buying from Dewsbury or Bradford,
most of the cars up there are over priced & rotten to the core.

and thats the sort of lovely advise i was wanting to rob lol. thanks lads.
also i was wanting to know how careful i should be about high milage engines? i know full well a lot of it goes down to how well its been looked after but i wanna know how reliable these engines are.

with regular oil changes they can pretty much last forever,toyota/yamaha really know how to make engines
