|
|
Well, this is my car. I bought it 2 years ago, in april 2006. 5 days after I bought it the engine blew, and I installed another one and away we go.
This is the car as I bought it, after some cleaning:
On november 2006, new parts for it:
All 2007 the car basically was the same, except that I found the mesh rims, changed the broken dash and got the headlight covers and new corner lamps:
Front old and cracked bumper:
Rear old bumper:
In 2008 I have started to fix it up. I just got a set of OEM side skirts. Donor car:
Once I took the car to the shop for the skirts being painted, I decided to fix up the bumpers since they had some cracs on them and also some minor rust on the gas door and under the LHS taillight:
Finished product:
I just love how my car looks now. I started to fix the interior also, I removed the roof and gonna have it cleaned, then the door panels and seats.
Maybe a couple of months later I might order some new wheels and fresh paint on it.
Finally, I want to do the JDM front and rear bumper conversion, + TRD wing.
Tell me what you think. I will be posting new pictures and updating the process as I go.

The car sure looks a lot nicer now with the painted bumpers. Keep up the good work.

That probably also means that you don't suffer from rust.

Hola Sgonzalez. There are some, but most of the people don't know what they have and are in very bad condition.
We still don't have a club, but maybe in the future. What about in Costa Rica?
I want to see your car, post pics.

Nice work! It makes a huge improvement with the painted bumpers, but JDM ones would be better, though

just a little patience please. I just ordered a set of RBs in 15x7" +25 for the front, and 15x8" +4 for the rear. I'll post pics once the rims arrive to my country.
JDM front conversion is next on the list

Pedro don't take this as an offensive comment, but why dont you get some JDM bumpers???
They are not that expensive, and it will turn out looking amazing.
I think the car would look even better, USDM bumpers are so damn ugly.
Cheers

JonnyAE86, is not offensive at all!! I know these bumpers are ugly.
That's my next mod on my list. I want this one:
Hopefully I'll be able to get it in the next couple of months. But I will only get the front one first, rear one later
