Hi guys

I just talked this through with some friends and we probably will do a trackday in summer 08.

Date is not fixed jet and price will be as low as possible.

Track will be the short version of Hockenheim. We will have all the pits and the track from 8.00-17.00. So much fun should be guaranteed.

We will also provide a afternoon packege.

I hope to see a lot of Hachis there so get your cars ready for next year!!
I do not want to hear anybody saying it was to short to get the car ready.

Cheers
Tobias

I think I would enjoy hockenheim more if you could rent it..

None the less, right now its not even sure if I will be in Europa in summer of 2008... Very Happy

Both would be fun of course.

But the Ring would be easier with 50+ cars and is more a Myth then HH.
So it is higher on our prio right now.

But we will see.

The Ring is a mouth full - Something smaller would be better if you want to explore your car at the limit... Just my opinion Smile

If its possible for me to go I'll surely consider Thumbsup

My choice would be Hockenheim.

Ill try to be there, but cant tell you for sure yet. If I can find a good garage and if im graduated i might start a restauration project. Smile

Ill come back on this

The ring...as in renting the ring privately or just getting in line with all of the other nutters and congestion on Dottinger hohe?
I'm less and less tempted to participate in "open" trackday. Crowds are getting bigger and driving standards are getting lower.

I've sworn off open trackdays, zandvoort last weekend just proved it yet again. I'll do the ring maybe once again someday on an easy day, but I'm there for the fun of driving, not to dive into a corner with 20 odd nutters around me. The pictures people spread around scared the shit out of me, and I'm not talking about the accident.

Back on topic, speedinc, if you can hire HH and you're expecting 50 peeps to show up, you got a good case of doing it on HH, dividing the costs amongst 50 people and having some good organisation to ensure not all 50 are on the track at the same time means attendees can have much more track time and drive in relative safety.

Does mean alot more organising though so I can understand the wish to rather go to an open circuit like the ring which, on a good day, is and always will be the best track in the world.

That all said, as I mentioned before, I will probably not even be in Europa around the time your organising this:(

Hi guys

We are trying to fix a date these days.
Most probable date will be:

07.03.08

This is a Friday so you will have to take a day off.

And we got the Nordschleife.

The more people we get the cheaper it will be for everybody.

More info will follow.

Cheers
Tobias

I'd definately be interested in this, however I must check up on a few things (namely, my drivers license being suspended around that time, not sure if I have it back by then)

i sure hope so

Yeah for any normal racetrack i would do that, but i was sure that the ring counts as a official Bundesstrasse so you actually need number plate / registration / valid drivers permit?

Or does that only apply when the ring is open to the public? If so, then it would be perfect and i'd definately be up for it Very Happy Thumbsup

This will be private.
You can bring anything you want, just real cars no open wheelers.

I do not think it should be a problem fo you fallguz. Cool

Kid I will have an application form up as soon as I have handled the paperwork.
And I want to see your Hachi finished till then or at least ready since the cars will never really be finished.

Cheers

All kind of cars are welcome. Just remember it should be performance oriented. SO caravans and Trabants are not so welcome on the track. Wink

Models we will have so far:
Ae86, Impreza, R8, Evo, Skyline (not confirmed) and a lot of others...

Either it'd be an Opel Speedster, or (hopefully) an Exige S. Though it's going to be a late confirmation for me, don't count me in yet. Puh
