Here are two of the 'single headlight' grills that I've got. I think I've got another one kicking around somewhere...

I'm very pleased with these TA60 sedans/coupes (especially coupes), and I came up with several questions. Does it has LSD or what brakes are in front/rear? Did TA60 carinas is very different from AE86 in technical area? Is the 2T-G engine very bad Confused

My TA60 has an open diff (S-class) and LSD on the TA60 was not an option as far as I know. All TA60s have disc front, drum rear.
I think a LSD can easialy be swapped from some Celica models, same axle and same diff size. Also swapping the axle and drivetrain from an AA63 or any other model XA6X Celica should be easy: same wheelbasis. Only the Celica Supra should be a problem since it has a different wheelbasis. Puh

From what I read and heard the 2T-G engine is not bad at all but it has a bit less power and is less rev-happy than the 4AGE. I'd rather have a 2T-G in my TA60 than the 2T I currently have. Very Happy

The TA60 carina isn't that different than the AE86, but it is much closer to the Celica than to the Corolla, so it isn't entirely a 4 door hachi. Puh

2TG engine is meh..but a 3T-GTE with a huge turbo hanging from the side. Puerto Rican dragracing style.

It resembles the Carina, but it is actually not the carina.

whiteline does them for the Celica's, could probably work on the Carina too. AE86 loweringsprings do fit at the front, if you have the "veerschotel" of an AE86 too.
The front struts are nearly the same as AE86 struts, exept for the mounting holes at the bottom (and in the case of Dennis' and my GT, they are bigger too, but your ST has smaller sized brakes)

And since your Carina has the same rear axle as the AE86 i believe (6,7" T series rear end, right?) they MIGHT be the same too. But i'm not too sure about that.

I've got a whole stack of pictures of carina coupes/sedans in various states of modifcation, if anyone wants to see. They look cool with an AE92 front bumper, but I'll be sticking with the standard one for mine.

I did see a lot of Carinas with that bumper, so I thought is was an aftermarket bodykit. Wink
