As I posted on my first topic, heres a brief summary of the work done so far in my AE86 Levin.
The car belonged to a friend of mine, who started the project.
Then, I bougth the project car a year ago and I'm continuing with the work.
Here it is when I bought it:
Assembling the Legos...
The "cockpit" still unfinished....
After some interior work done:
"Wheight reduction stage 1":
And some idiot bumped into me at the parking lot!!
I took the chance to instal the front spoiler:
And painted the cam covers as well:
After mounting the front bumper:
Some fun helped by the 2way Kaaz LSD
Some rubber changing... Yokohama A539... very good front tyres
And finally, after a long wait, the wheels arrived from the US!
Sportmax 002 15" 8J
Toyo Proxes T1R to the front...
And Potenza RE720 to the rear axle (a friend gave them to me! eheh!)
Some photos of the 86....
The previous owner and my friend Joel:
Last month the Megasquirt ECU arrived.
I'm thinking about the 4A-GE 20V Blacktop.... maybe!
Well, it's all for now!

I order my wheels from Pack Racing Products. The service was great.
The Toyo Proxes are being loyal to their owner so far...
Really good grip at the front wheels. You can really "tackle the corners" with confidence.
About Portugal, Rasteirinho and Lipinhu are absolutly right! Come here to our nice sunny spot! I assure that you will see some nice 86s and hot chicks as well ehhee!

About the car, I was really thinking about the 20V blacktop...
I gather lots of information along the time, but I was counting with a litle help from some members that did this engine swap as well.
I need to be sure about all the parts I have to order besides the engine it-self. I seen that some of you are also using the Megasquirt ECU.
Well, next month I will star assembling mine. I'll keep you all posted about that.

This is not really about the car but... it's something that it's also included in my 86 project.
My new helmet!
Sand it...
Grey it...
Looks familiar to you guys....?
Green it....
Isolate it AGAIN!! (almost 4 hours of pleasure with mask tape..... )
Black it...
After the final coating.... here's the result:
(That blue tape wasn't supposed to be there.... )
Thanks to Joel and Luís for their help!

Here's a nice photo of my 86....
Photoshop helped to enhance the spirit of the hachi, thanks to my friend Luís, aka CorollaTTE.

Oh yeah! Drift Day pictures
btw: If you want I can help you with the stickers seen in this photo, so you can make a more realistic helmet

That would be nice.
I've got all the images that I need, but some of them are just too small to be printed without getting too "pixelized"...

No problem about the pixel, I have some of those logos ready por printing, and the ones I have not I can "vector" them, so we can print them in any size without loosing quality.
Give me a ring to work thar out or we can talk in the next AE86 meeting in pombal.
