Anyways me and Michel H joined the Driving-fun.com track day at Zandvoort today and did many laps chasing each others cars. Some great great fun!
Its amazing how a stock AE92 with blacktop engine and a tricked out AE86 with stock engine can be so equally matched 
Andreas was there as well and shot a lot of camera footage, can't wait to see it.
The only downside of today, the very fast lap, a minute before 7 when we were supposed to leave the track, I blew a hole in my exhaust right before the first muffler (the bit under your seat). By the time I got home it had come completely off..
I need a new 2-1-muffler piece now...

Nice pics! 
Auch! At first I thought the 2-1 piece was replaced when we replaced your exhaust, but looking through your album I noticed we didn't replace that one.
In that case a stock 2-1 piece should fit, and those are still available through Brezan or similar companies.

Well, Lennert still has one, and Jordy suddenly reminded me that he got one from me a while back together with 4-2 header cause he thought his exhaust was bad (but it turned out to be gaskets) so I'll probably get that one back from him and put that on the car.
I am contemplating the idea of getting an OBX header though

Ja dat was fun 
Mux is goed bezig ! We hadden de gang er lekker in zitten. Mux had telkens wat meer exit-speed waardoor ik flink moest trappen en bij aanremmen/entry kon ik het dan weer goed maken. Maar GVD wat een bodyroll heeft die van mij haha 
Gewicht is heel belangrijk en ik moest dan ook echt trappen met m'n broer naast me. Die paar ronden dat ik alleen was, was ik dan ook een stuk sneller. Maar de bochtsnelheden waren nagenoeg hetzelfde.
Het leuke van de GTi is en blijft lift-off oversteer en natuurlijk nét iets langer de rem erop houden tijdens insturen, soms zet de achterkant serieuze stappen opzij , ik heb gewoon serieus plezier met m'n aftandse antieke fwd corolla haha Vraag me af wat het ding doet met een nieuw onderstel..

Tjah en dan rem ik 'relatief' vroeg omdat ik voorzichtig ben, ik denk dat ik veel later en veel harder kan remmen maar dat 'durf' ik nog niet Verschil tussen ons is in dat opzicht denk ik ook een behoorlijk aantal rondjes Nurburgring mis t.o.v. van jouw
Wat ik wel erg grappig vond was dat als ik achter jouw zat ik veel later de remmen in ging dan ik normaal deed, normaal rem ik al bij de 150 meter voor de tarzan, maar ik betrapte er nu op dat we voorbij de 100 meter zwaar in de ankers gingen. Moet toch eens leren hoeveel marge ik daar laat liggen.

Ja totdat ik er achter zit en dan zie dat terwijl jij instuurt, je binnenste achter wiel gewoon ineens stil staat omdat ie niet meer in contact is met het wegdek! Zieke geest!

Hey guys,
Michel put a vid on from this day, took a little while, long story..

Camera car btw is Michel H's AE92 with Blacktop engine and stock suspension.
First part of the movie is my car in the lead, AE86 with uprated suspension but stock 4AG.
Second part of the movie Michel passes me and I keep chase, Michel, you should add a mirror to your cam so people can see what happens behind you:)
A track day after this Michel had his suspension upgraded as well and I couldn't keep up at all:)
