Invitation for round 3 of KoE, 23-24.06.2007 Tököl, Hungary

We’d like to invite you to the hungarian KoE round, organised on 23-24 of June 2007 on Tököl Airfield near Budapest. All the well known european drifters and the hungarian pro drifters will be there, about 50 competitors. On Saturday you will have 3 hours training time, and at the end of the day the qualification, same judged a sin Formula D. Only the best 32 can go on Sunday for tsuiso races. The track will be quit fast with tarmac surface and 3 judged curves. The entry fee is 50 Euro, free tyre service is included for both days. The catering will be good and cheap, so you don’t have to race with empty stomach. Smile

On the airfield there is enough place for tanting or for a caravan, but unfortunately at the track there is no electrical power or running water.

For press accreditation please send an email for Orsolya Herczeg (sajto@drifter.hu) and if you have any other question about the race please don’t hesitate to ask us (info@drifter.hu).

Wow, TE71 is a really exotic car! Smile I'm very happy to see such old Toyotas competing next weekend.
A few very talented hachi drivers will compete from Hungary as well so P-Nut, Kees Kok and Paul Vlasblom will have a hard day. Smile

P-Nut was the 3rd (lost against Paul Vlasblom, E30 M3 GTR touring, he was the 1st), and TE71 is in the best 32, I don't remember, maybe in the best 16. But P-Nut did very well on the 2days... Worship

Does some one have a video where Paul is driving against white E30, and Paul is first on entrance, but he make a mistake with too long handbrake, and as result to wide turn, and white E 30 passed him, and Paul spin out, no contact between them.

I translate: Kas wants a video about the Paul-Tibor Szőllősi (#3) match. Smile

Btw as far as I remember Paul didn't spin in that round he was going wide only and had to make some corrections. Exciting round for sure...

I don't know about such video yet but I try not to forget and link it here if I find one.
