Some days after i bought it back in 2004:
Since then, the car has been stolen for a week end and 2 days (worste days in my life) and when i recovered the car it needed some work to be done.
So i decided to focus on a japanese performance parts and give extra attention to weight loss instead of more hp.
Here goes the specs and mod list:
Weight Loss:
-Striped trunk, right to the bone
-No ac motors, pipings, electronics
-No window cleaning fluid reservoir, motors and tubes
-Center console striped from ashtray, radio, radio electrics, lighter, etc
-Original center console racing style
-Striped dust plates for the brakes
-No protective plates for exhaust, petrol reservoir, and engine oil pain
-No rear spoiler
-Some iron parts replaced with aluminum parts
Mecha's:
-Engine conditioning to brand new
-New radiators (oil & water)
-TRD head gasket
-Lightened flywheel
-Direct induction from sparco
-Cusco oil catch tank
-TRD oil filter
-T-VIS and head ported and polished
-TRD thicker head bolts
-TRD LSD 2.0 and 1.5 (depending on the mood 2 drift
-Koni suspension
New stuff to put in:
-Sparco roll bar
-Sparco steering wheel
-Kazama auto quick release hub
-Quick shifter
-OBX exhaust
Wainting for some money to:
-270º Cams
-HKS pulleys
-Mikuni Carbs
-Project Mu brakes
-T3 RCA
-Tein Coilovers

Some recent pics:
Hope you like it and... let it rip! Let me hear something

How does the OBX exhaust feels like (qualitywise) and how does it sounds?

The OBX comes with a waranty for 3 years so if it cracks open you get a free one. I'll have to wait and see if it rust or whatever.
It sounds really great, it reminds me of the fujitsubos legalis that some japanese AE owners used to equip. Also it cheap comparing to HKS or Fujistubo.

Besides, as you know, right now it's NO LSD, waiting for the rebuild kit for the 1.5, sold the 2.0.

SHIT!
Working on the car today after yesterday having problems on oil spill from intake doing roundabouts.
So, finished it up and with a big smile i pick up my cam to take some new pics:
Went for a test drive smoothly and 5 minutes later and old geezer slams into me
I just want to cry...
Apparantly it is not structural damage. Thank God!
Now im hanging around with this replacement:

WOw!
Atleast he didn't hit anything structural, so repairing is very possible.
However I'm not too sure about they way insurance would handle this... Here in Holland they even write-off your car for such small damage since the repair is more expensive than paying the whole write-off. That is, if you haven't had your car taxated recently...

So... Update,
After this nice job something has to be done:
So I thought... well my Trueno Drift Car is still in progress and is going to take a long time and bla bla bla....
Hands on and... presenting:
The ONLY (I guess) Trueno 3 door in Portugal!
Ok, the fenders are for paint right now, and I'm looking for a Trueno front bumper because I hate this SR5 ones. Still working on the rust in the headlights and in a week I'll post some news.
Thank you all!
